Fashion in Jamaica and the region exists, much to my annoyance, almost outside of an international aesthetic. It's my desire, then, to build a bridge between what is innately cultural, and the international industry, all the while highlighting trends and shifts within both spheres.

Tracy Reese 2010 Spring/Summer Collection
Working edgy animal prints against an arty dot motif, and contrasting body-skimming silhouettes with full skirts cinched with a belt, Tracy Reese's 2010 spring/summer collection consisted of versatile and very girly pieces- flirty dresses done in painterly prints were nice, while working in a cheery palette of tangerine, cerulean and luscious lemon. Once again, Jeneil Williams and Sigail Currie dominated the runway.
