Fashion in Jamaica and the region exists, much to my annoyance, almost outside of an international aesthetic. It's my desire, then, to build a bridge between what is innately cultural, and the international industry, all the while highlighting trends and shifts within both spheres.

Temperley London 2010 Spring/Summer Collection
The whole Big Top theme was a little too literal, but designer Alice Temperley still managed to present a fun and lively spring lineup. Instead of a straightforward presentation, Temperley collaborated with directors Georgie Greville and Greg Brunkalla on film to showcase the collection, which featured Harlequin print dresses, studded suits based on a harness and brilliant tattoo work on sheer netting.
