Fashion in Jamaica and the region exists, much to my annoyance, almost outside of an international aesthetic. It's my desire, then, to build a bridge between what is innately cultural, and the international industry, all the while highlighting trends and shifts within both spheres.

Cesar Galindo 2010 Spring/Summer Collection
With today’s fun and creative ease of styles, colors, textures and designs, Cesar Galindo presented an almost impeccably assortment of tailored cocktail dresses, gowns & suitings designed with unique patterns, orchestrated seams. One-seam garments and engineered doses of lux architecture accentuated, as always, Galindo’s silhouettes.
Texturally, it was an interesting collection, too- matte, shines, clear & multi-layered... Fabrics wer foiled linen, silk charmuse, wovens, chiffon solids and polka dots, some accentuated with accents of metal, mesh & beading and custom painted jeweled embellished details are focal points that effortlessly sculpture and control the look.
A collection replete with black models, Saint Iternational's Trissan Holder looked gorgeous in her multiple pieces.
