With the heat of today, it seems that a shorts on and off the beach is usually the smartest piece to have in one's closet. The designers at Marni realized this, so too at Alexander Wang and 3.1 Phillip Lim. But it isn't just the shorts that one needs to perfect this look, there has to be a relaxed slouchiness to all the pieces- think tees, knee-high socks, rolled cuffs and big jackets.
