Thakoon Panichgul fleshed out the look and feel of his 2010 Resort collection for Thakoon's recent spring/summer collection in New York. With bold, colourful prints infused with the line's signature flirty, knotty aesthetic, Thakoon continues to prove one of the best new labels around.
If you were reminded of Balenciaga's 2003 spring/summer collection, so was I, but with a potpourri of breezy blouson dresses, sportier body-defining frocks, tweed jackets and even patchwork ninja pants, the collection never seemed like it ripped Mr. Ghesquière off.
