Anna Sui 2010 Spring/Summer Collection

Natasha Poly! Jessica Stam! Chanel Iman! Sessilee Lopez! The supermodels all came out for the Anna Sui collection, but that wasn't even the best part. "I'm always about optimism and exuberance. It's what I feel about fashion," said the designer a few days before taking her show, and indeed the clothes were that- optimistic and exuberant! From the neon blues to the luscious purple motif, from the gorgeous gladiators to the masterful printage, Sui did everything right.
There were ringmaster's jackets, Liberty patterns recolored "à la Anna Sui," animal prints, paisley, and lots more tomboyish looks than usual. Admitting to the 1967 version of Doctor Doolittle as a major inspiration, the collection had a very cool 60's vibe. But don't call this mod. this was ready-to-wear, accessible fashion in all its many wondrous colours.
