Fashion in Jamaica and the region exists, much to my annoyance, almost outside of an international aesthetic. It's my desire, then, to build a bridge between what is innately cultural, and the international industry, all the while highlighting trends and shifts within both spheres.

Wayne Fall/Winter 2010 RTW
Wayne Lee played it cool with military references such as a camo-esque print and uniform-precise tailoring, but also showed an edgy nomadic vibe in the likes of distressed-suede drape jacket. Some looks didn't quite work, especially the trousers here and there that were missing a leg, but what was most appealing about this collection is how Lee continued to formulate the angsty street-edginess the label has come to be known for.
