Fashion in Jamaica and the region exists, much to my annoyance, almost outside of an international aesthetic. It's my desire, then, to build a bridge between what is innately cultural, and the international industry, all the while highlighting trends and shifts within both spheres.

Doo.Ri Fall/Winter 2010 RTW
Countering her signature draping with sharp tailoring and military touches, designer Doori Chung gave us a collection of strong jackets and slick pants striking a subtle power chord for daywear.
The brightly multicolored cocktail dresses with crystal embroideries should be a big hit, too.
