Cropped blazers, tailcoats, and vests exposed slivers of skin, worn with thick ribbed thigh-high legwarmers, often yanked down over chunky heels, with a dash of goth. That was basically Alexander Wang's RTW Fall 2010 collection in a neat nutshell. Too bad the collection itself wasn't neat.
My sentiments were split down the middle- loved the draping, hated the velvet; loved the layering, hated the colours. Every major talent will, sooner or later, deliver an ugly collection. Consider this one Wang's.
