Anyone expecting audacious flights-of-fancy from Horsting and Snoeren for their Pre-Fall collection must be sorely disappointed; instead, the designer gave us 25 streamlined looks, all wearable, all sober. Except for about 4 looks, everything was in black and white, all dubbed "Paint it Black" by the two designers. (Apparently inspired by the Rolling Stones tune.)
Smart tuxedo's, cocktail dresses and knee-high boots oozed sexy femininity, while the fabrics (cotton poplin, drapey ivory silk charmeuse) conveyed chic opulence.
