With delicate floral patterns and some pretty baby-doll dresses, Jason Wu sent his models down a red carpeted runway Friday afternoon.
Inspired by 1950's fashion photographs of Irving Penn, Wu's daywear, slouchy and man-tailored, in heather and charcoal shades, was also inspired by the photographer's own wardrobe.
But with all that, Wu still managed to deliver more of the same of what we expected- jewel-coloured cocktail dresses hand-painted in gold, and extravagant ball-gowns, embellished with peacock and ostrich feathers or printed with dandelion and foxglove patterns.
