The clothes were exactly what we expect of her namesake line — not the draped wedding dresses that gained her fame and fortune, but the dark, artsy kinds of clothes she likes to wear herself.
Fashion in Jamaica and the region exists, much to my annoyance, almost outside of an international aesthetic. It's my desire, then, to build a bridge between what is innately cultural, and the international industry, all the while highlighting trends and shifts within both spheres.

Vera Wang Fall/Winter 2010 RTW
After holding her show in her Soho boutique for the past two seasons, Wang returned to the tents at Bryant Park.
There were plenty of looks that will be wearable, including several with the dramatic use of Mongolian lamb, a fabric we’ve been seeing quite a lot of this week.
