The opening look for Preen was a floral bustier dress worn with a cropped turtleneck knit that exposed a band of skin in front and a bra strap in back. The piece defines the collection that follows- understated, minimal, very detailed, and well-executed.
I had an issue with cuts here and there, but this is one of the best collections to have emerged from New York so far. The outer-wear was well tailored with harder edges, while airily sophisticated silk and cashmere dresses gave it that right touch of grace and femininity.
