Giambattista Valli 2010 Spring/Summer Collection
With shorter hemlines, flounced skirts, animal prints, leather fringe and lots of feathers, the Spring/Summer collection for Giambattista Valli catered to both young and mature audiences with tailored coat-dresses, embellished to varying degrees with embroidery and sculpted ruffles.
Curbing his tendency toward overdone volume and grand couture gestures, the collection teetered on the edge of too much, and just right.
