THE LOCAL FIRM is a new Swedish independent label founded in 2007 by Richard Hutchinson and Axcel Nyhage. The line has a distinctive design code which combines high fashion attire with innovative jeans design. According to their website, THE LOCAL FIRM´s concept is inspired by art, architecture and design from the former east-block, and one can see this easily from their layering, and fascinating cuts.
The line caters to both males and females, has a line of grey spectacles inspired by "3D glasses and 80s electro tunes", as well as a REFINED line that "refines and re-interprets garments or other products by moulding them according to The Local Firmʼs design code and aesthetics." The pieces in this limited and exclusive collection are all hand-made in Italy and Sweden, and are all numbered.
