Fashion in Jamaica and the region exists, much to my annoyance, almost outside of an international aesthetic. It's my desire, then, to build a bridge between what is innately cultural, and the international industry, all the while highlighting trends and shifts within both spheres.

Movies are my primary source for inspiration and creativity. Even in the worst ones, I can always find a line, or scene, or character (or dress) that causes me to go back to that particular movie time and time again.
Ever since the Golden Age of Hollywood, film-makers have sought to define stylistic aesthetics, while costume designers and art directors have used the medium of fashion to express tone, themes, eras and the characters they dress.
