With crisp clarity, Jacobs added a girly freshness to some very relaxed clothes.
Hues were restrained, textures were soft and everything appeared lived-in without seeming elderly or too quaint; they had an almost time-less quality about them (if baby dolly and pajama dresses can be called timeless, anyway) but where still trendy enough to be worn by the chic downtown girl.
Jacobs' more tomboy-ish fans will lap up a sharp black suit, crisp bib-front button-downs, and a sweet tuxedo-illusion camisole, while quilted slipdresses and perforated leather minidresses will certainly be a hit once on shelves.
