Bottega Veneta Resort 2011

Starting with some menswear-inspired pieces, all black and cinched, the non-fussy, minimal collection from Bottega Veneta touched on a few red carpet numbers and even swimwear.

Designer Tomas Maier utilized flat shoes, some slouchiness here and there, and even lycra in conveying the mood of ease that was the main motif through-out the entire collection. Accessories, too, especially bags in neon shades, were a stand-out, with a few of them appearing to be made from rubberized python skin.
